Come practice Seitei Jodo and Iaido in Vissenbjerg (Feb/Mar 2026)

Akiyama Budokai is pleased to invite you to Denmark's only annual seminar in both Zen Nippon Kendo Renmeis (ZNKR) Iaido and Jodo!
In addition, it is with great pride and gratitude that we announce that five very skilfull budoka have offered to come to teach and attend shinsa up to iaido 3rd dan! We welcome Rickard von Haugwitz, Caroline Lindholm, Leif Sunje, Fredrik Broman and Johan Rönndahl. Sign up at the bottom of this page.

All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to the experienced: we're here to practice!

• Time: 28 february - 1 March 2026
  The first practice begins Saturday at 10, and the last one ends at 15 on Sunday. It is possible to arrive on Friday. It is possible to be graded Sunday (remember to sign up on DKF's website, see below).
• Place: the school in Vissenbjerg. Address: Vissenbjerg Skole, Søndersøvej 14, 5492 Vissenbjerg, Denmark.
• Sleeping quarters: at the school (free) or e.g. the inn Vissenbjerg Storkro which is across the parking lot from the school.
  • At the school we will sleep in classrooms, not in the gym. Bring all necessary gear for your sleep. The building will be locked, and swords will be secured further.
• Meals: the price includes lunch both days and dinner Saturday. We have access to the school kitchen; bring what you need for breakfast and to drink. (There are two local super markets.)
• Price: payment information will be sent when you sign up using the form below. Deadline for payment is Saturday 14 February. Returns not possible after 1 Feb.
  • Prices INCLUDE lunch both days and dinner Saturday (and sleeping at the school if you wish).
  • DKK 750 for both days
  • DKK 1400 Instructor training focusing on corrections and principles.
