With great pleasure, Akiyama Budokai in Vissenbjerg invites you to the 2nd Danish seminar in Zen Nihon Kendo Renmei Jodo and Iaido. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, it is with great pride and gratitude that we announce that no less than six very skilfull budoka have offered to come to teach and attend shinsa! We welcome <em><em>Ziemowit Domanski, Laurens Loozen<\/em><\/em>, <em>Caroline Lindholm, Alexander Prahl, Johan R\u00f6nnedahl<\/em> and <em>Fredrik Broman<\/em> (more information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akiyama.dk\/en\/seitei-lejr-marts-2024-om-underviserne\/\">about the instructors)<\/a>). <br>NOTE: <em>Jesper Waldest\u00e5l <\/em>has unfortunately had to cancel his participation this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced: we are here to practice! To ensure a consistent and high level of iaido in Denmark, we also introduce an \"instructor track\" for those at a sufficient level to grade shinsa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical information:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Time<\/strong>: 5-6 April 2025 <br>The first practice begins Saturday at 10, and the last one ends at 15 on Sunday. It is possible to arrive on Friday 4th. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade tests Sunday: it is possible to test for new grades (see below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Place<\/strong>: the school in Vissenbejrg. Address: Vissenbjerg Skole, S\u00f8nders\u00f8vej 14, 5492 Vissenbjerg, Denmark. We will be in the Multisal. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sleeping quarters<\/strong>: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the hall (free). Bring what you need or get in touch for assistance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the inn Vissenbjerg Storkro 100 m. across the parking lot. (NOTE: there are not many rooms free.)  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write if you would like to stay with one of us locals - we can probably find room for 5-8 people. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Meals<\/strong>: the price includes lunch both days and dinner Saturday. Bring what you need for breakfast and to drink. (There is a good bakery and two local super markets nearby.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Price<\/strong> incl. three meals. You will receive payment information when you sign up for the seminar below; payment must be made by 1 April. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DKK 850 for jodo\/iaido<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DKK 1400 for the instructor class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Schedule<\/strong>: see the provisional schedule below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Grade tests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is possible to be graded up to <em>3rd dan iaido<\/em> and up to <em>1st kyu in jodo<\/em> and we hope that many will take advanage of this opportunity.
